away for the weekend

We are going away for the weekend….I think we need a break….this was planned over a month ago, going up north around Erie to shoot 3 races at 3 different tracks….I wasn’t going to do this once we found out about Deb’s surgery and all, but she really is feeling better, and with everything that has gone wrong this week, perhaps a weekend away will be good for us.
Of course even this is trying to be messed up on me….the editor of National Dirt Digest figured I wouldn’t be going because of Debbie’s surgery, so he didn’t call in my credentials for me, and now is out on the road himself….for some reason none of the other papers/magazines that have been using my photos are able or willing to call in credentials for me…
So even though this seems like kind of a dorky thing to ask prayer for, maybe you could pray that things will work out ok for me up there….I’ve finally started to do some decent photo sales to some of the teams, and these races are going to have some big names in them, I could make out pretty good with a good shoot, but I’ve heard these tracks are somewhat restrictive about letting people shoot without credentials.
Anyways…we’re hanging in there…hoping to get rid of these blues while we are away…
. . . i’m praying that you not only have favor with God as a craftsman, but i’m also praying that God grants you favor with man so that you are allowed proper entry for really good shots! ::: peace
