I upgraded to a newer version of WordPress and when I did, I broke the old design. Eh, it’d been there for awhile, so I guess it was time for a change.
So, what do you think? The header photo is one of mine, heavily Photoshop’d of course, and the CSS came from McChris.
[edited to add "upon further review..."] My wife saw this and said it was way too dark and gloomy. I guess after looking at it awhile that maybe it isn’t as cool as I thought it was. So I have made some alternate headers, maybe y’all can help me decide which to go with. Here is a page that has all four versions on, check them out and tell me what you think, including if you think they all stink and I need to start over with something else. [/edit]
I may tinker some more with it later next week. I was going to say I’d tinker with it tomorrow, but it occurred to me that tomorrow is our 5th anniversary, so Deb might not be so keen on me messing around with CSS and blog code and all that.
Of course, I’d really like to be in Cumberland, MD covering The Big Kahuna race; my editor thanked me profusely for covering it, now I’ve got to tell him that we didn’t have the funds to make it down there. I’m really hoping I can manage to make it to the Hagerstown race next weekend, that one is really an important one to cover.
I’ll blog a little more next week about everything that has been going on since we moved from Carnegie to Mercer. I will say that I am loving it here!

I like the one you’re using too, and the brighter versions. I do like this layout better than the old Mars one. Nice job!!!
