Well, that seems better

It’s been a bit of a struggle, and I had a spot of nasty server trouble thrown in for a while there, but I think I have the problem fairly well licked for now.
Is everything looking alright in your browser now? Please let me know if anything is even a little wonky.
One thing I had to do was take all the ads away, I’ll be running an ad or two at the bottom of most posts from now on; it seems that I may have been breaking some div boundries with some of them.
Seriously though, right now, my ebay and any affiliate sales I can make are the only income I have coming in. So if you’re looking for a book, music, software, game, whatever, I truly would be grateful if you clicked thru one of my ads.
I don’t want to go into all the big bad about it, but we had another curve ball thrown our way this past week, (which I know some of you picked up on, and your emails have been a great comfort and reassurance) so any little bit that we can get from ad click thru sales has to help.

It looks good Paul - I’ll click on some adds whenever I pop over.
Cheers - Steve
I’d be in your debt if you could tell me how you get your links to display the asterisks when websites update! I also noticed when you hover, they display a last updated date. Thanks!
Hi Mark,
OK, you’re running WP 1.2 (pun intended
), so, in your control panel, go to Options > Link Manager. Then scroll down to ‘links_recently_updated_prepend’ and put in **. Then below that you will see ‘links_recently_updated_time’ where you set the limit for what is ‘recent’ for you.
THEN, if you want the recently updated to shuffle to the top like I have mine set, you need to go to LINKS > Link Categories. From there, set the sort order to any category that you want to do this, to ‘updated’ (descending).
In theory, that should be all that is needed, but for some reason, that alone didn’t fully kick in for me. I had to add the Update Linkroll plugin, which you can get here: http://carthik.net/wpplugins/updatelinkroll.phps
Just add it,activate it, and you should be good to go. If you need help with the plugin, let me know.
