I have found the fix for blank Google maps in Firefox (courtesy of Slashdot):

Check your JavaScript advanced options in the Preferences. You'll need "Change Images" and "Disable Or Replace Context Menus" checked.

I'm in the same boat. It works perfectly fine for me at home, but at work (with the same Firefox configuration) I get the same blank screen. It works fine at both locations with IE6 and XP SP2, so I doubt it's a firewall issue.

It's a mystery...

The only thing I've got that might be making it wonky in that regards would be SP2, and I'm starting to wonder if that is what is causing several of my mysterious little wonkiness issues that I haven't been able to figure out.

That's pretty odd. I'm using FF 1.0 with tons of extensions, and I haven't had any problems. Do you use a personal firewall that could be interfering? Some of those will muck about with HTTP headers and such. Though I'm EZ Firewall without any problems.
