I almost missed this one…I love the Hokies, and I always pull for them, but against Duke?
I figured there wasn’t much need to check the scoreboard, other than to see how many points Roanoke native J.J. Redick had racked up.
But, then, as I was skimming thru the headlines on My Yahoo! page - there it was -
Hokies Pull Off Shocker, Beat No. 7 Duke
Who would have ever thought it possible, in their first year in the ACC, that at this point in the season, they would be in 4th place?
To borrow a certain catch phrase - I’m loving it!
Yeah! My wife is a Hokie so I’m a Hokie fan also. Clemson alumn so that is first, but that’s pretty cool about Tech!
Another reason why the ACC always has the best basketball in the country. You just never know on a particular night what’s going to happen.
