Daytona 500 Day!

Even though I’m into short track racing in general, and dirt in particular, and even though I feel that in many respects NA$CAR has come to represent all that is wrong with our chosen sport; still…it’s THE DAYTONA 500!
Gentleman, Start Your Engines!!
We’re off to watch the race with friends at the annual SMODA Daytona 500 party, so I’ll have post race thoughts later tonight.
My pre-race pick? From a dirt racing freak, who else but SMOKE??
