Well, all in all, I was fairly bored by the whole race today. Another 4 plus hours of restrictor-plate racing that all comes down to surviving the pinball game of the last 10 laps.

Even though I’m into short track racing in general, and dirt in particular, and even though I feel that in many respects NA$CAR has come to represent all that is wrong with our chosen sport; still…it’s THE DAYTONA 500!
