Is anyone using Vonage?

We’ve been looking at Vonage as an option for our phone plan.

But I’ve got a couple of questions that I’d like to know the answer to before we decide to make any changes.

First, we’ve got one main phone that we have the answering machine hooked up to. Then we’ve got three extension phones throughout the house. Can we still use our extension phones with Vonage?

Second, our main phone is out in the kitchen area, the computer is in the office. There is no phone jack in the office; the phone in here is a wireless satellite unit. Is that a problem?

Third, I have heard that Vonage uses some sort of referral system, whereby current users can refer new users and both get some kind of benefit. Is this true, and if so, would anyone like to refer me?
