Obligatory “I’m Still Alive” Post

I am still alive; I know I haven’t posted anything lately – I seem to be having a hard time trying to think of anything worth saying.

Houston was a good time visiting my Mom; and it was excellent that my brother was able to fly in for a couple of days. He and I had a great Saturday together at Houston Raceway Park where I was able to cover the racing action – The SUPR Late Model Series was there that night and I was able to get a fairly good amount of shots of the event. I also shot some of their local track classes that were running there that night, have them in their own album.

While it was nice to visit my Mom, I have to admit that I’m glad I don’t live down there. For whatever reason, the Houston, Texas area is just not my cup of tea. It was good to get back home again.

The trouble is, I’ve just been extremely lethargic since I’ve gotten back. I just don’t seem to care about much of anything or even doing anything. For one thing, my headaches are back, and worse than ever. At least 50% of the time it is painful just to have my eyes open. And being able to stay focused on anything for more than a few minutes at a time is a major chore. In fact, this is surprising that I’ve been able to keep this train of thought going to post on here.

Which means I had best go ahead and post this because I’ll soon get mad at myself for not remembering what I was trying to say and I’ll delete everything – which I’ve done before, several times, I think.
