There has been so much written elsewhere about the aftermath of Katrina, that there isn’t much that I could possibly add here. However, I just came across this story, which I had not yet heard….

Fats Domino is now among the thousands unaccounted for in flooded New Orleans after rebuffing friends’ pleas to flee as Hurricane Katrina bore down on the city he celebrated in song, his manager said on Thursday. (rest of the story….)
