U2 on ‘Late Night With Conan O’Brien’ last night? If so, what’d you think?
They played 4 songs – All Because of You, Original of the Species, Stuck In A Moment, and Vertigo. All good stuff, but I really would like to have heard them do I Will Follow, or something – anything – from any of their first 4 or 5 albums.
I loved when The Edge took part in Conan’s In The Year 2000 bit; and especially when Bono stepped in to add In the year 2000….“U2 reveals that the Edge wears knit hats to cover the tatoo on his forehead that says ‘I ^heart^ Urkel’”
It was a great hour, I enjoyed it, and it made me realize all over again how much I hate that I’m not going to get to see the boys on this tour.
