Evangelical media star Thom Hickling dies in Zambia crash

I had the privilege of meeting Thom several times, and was interviewed by him on one of my visits to His Place.

I always enjoyed his style of looking at some of the many absurdities of evangelical Christianity. Good fun stuff that made you stop and think.

Thom was the same way when you talked to him out in ‘real’ life; I remember having an awesome conversation with him at a Christian bookstore one time, just bs’ing about music and such.

Life continues to be full of crap that isn’t fair and just doesn’t make sense.
