After having no health insurance for the last year and a half, we were looking forward to next week when my wife was to have health insurance coverage kick in from where she works.
With the myriad of health problems I seem to have, this was welcome news indeed. Just the prescriptions that I am supposed to be taking come to over $400/month, so it was going to be good to be able to start at least a couple of them back up again.
And then, this afternoon, as it was time to end her work day, my wife was called into the office and given the news that, due to the loss of a large contract, she was being laid off.

I’m so sorry - what a bad day.
I’ll be thinking of you both.
Steve
Man, that is some really bad news. I guess God knows what he’s doing.
I can relate with how you’re feeling because I was there two years ago. Believe me, it can get better.
Prayers and thoughts are with you and your family.
Oh that just sucks.
Keep us posted!
You’re in my prayers, Paul!!
