Conference Championship Sunday

Well, it’s almost time for the opening kickoff to start the [tag]NFL[/tag] Conference Championship Sunday.

First up is the [tag]STEELERS[/tag] at the Denver Broncos. Now if you know you are reading this at STEELERDirtFreak.com; I guess I really don’t have to tell you who I’m pulling for in this game. I’m worried about the game, as [tag]Bill Cowher[/tag] always seems to coach to lose in these important games, but hopefully the BUS – [tag]Jerome Bettis[/tag] – will be able to lead the team forward today. It is almost certain this is his final year, and how fitting it would be for him to close out his hall-of-fame career by playing in the [tag]Super Bowl[/tag] in his home-town of Detroit.

Next game on tap sees the Carolina Panthers travelling to Seattle to take on the Seahawks. I really don’t care who wins this game. This is likely to be a dull and boring game, featuring two dull and boring teams scrimaging to see who gets to lose in the Super Bowl. Yawn….If I’m forced to pick a winner here, I guess I’d have to say Seahawks.
