Pray for Bob Robinson
Posted By Paul on February 4, 2006
Y’all please [tag]pray[/tag] for [tag]Bob Robinson[/tag]. He’s an online friend and fellow blogger who occasionally stops by here and leaves a comment.
He had emergency heart surgery last night; Byron has most of the details, including the latest update.
Also be [tag]praying[/tag] for his wife, Linda, and their three children.
Hi–I’m Bob’s wife. I’ve just been reading some of the blogs and want to thank all of you for your prayers and concern. It’s amazing that I don’t even know any of you, yet you are praying for us!
He’s still heavily sedated–they don’t want to wake him up until all of his numbers are steady. The biggest concern is that his oxygen levels are still very low; they can’t wake him until these improve significantly. All the staff at the hospital are amazed that his aneurysm didn’t burst–which would have killed him instantly–since it was so big; it tore, and then somewhat sealed itself off. One of the nurses said “I think Someone was holding it together for him!” I know so. Thanks again!
[...] UPDATE: His wife Linda posted here; apparently, Bob’s aneurysm tore but did not “explode”, which would have killed him instantly. Pray that Bob’s oxygen levels will improve. [...]
