The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette is reporting today that Ozzy Osbourne has decided that the 2007 edition of his annual OzzFest will be free – Ozzy’s annual heavy metal music festival to be free in ’07
That should be quite an interesting experiment. I have to admit, as someone who remembers when concert tickets priced at $10 were deemed “outrageously expensive”, I certainly hope this is successful for the Mad Man as maybe other groups will decide that bleeding their fans to financial death is not the way to go.
