Disgraceful NASCAR Exhibition no comments
I help run a fantasy NASCAR league, and I prefaced our weekly wrap-up today with the following thoughts on that sorry excuse of an event held in Indianapolis yesterday…
The shame of it was that ESPN and their so called announcers removed any remaining doubt that they are nothing more than corporate puppet shills, spewing the NA$$$CAR company line.
That was an embarrassing exhibition of corporate greed showing a total disregard for the paying customers and the national audience that reportedly shrunk by the minute.
12 laps was the longest green flag stretch?
And with all of those extra caution periods and natural commercial breaks (which were amply filled with commercials), E$PN still found it necessary to take at least one, and sometimes two, commercial breaks during each 7 minute segment of green flag driving. (That was certainly NOT green flag RACING!)

Tradition be damned… that’s the NASCAR way no comments
Shawn Courchesne has some excellent observations and thoughts in his latest post:
California Dreaming That There Are Actual NASCAR Fans In The Golden State.
For all of their hype with those new comercials that are supposed to appease long-time fans, NASCAR does not give a rip about tradition… or it’s REAL fans.
