Ed Stetzer just posted an interesting look at “door-to-door visitation” and how it is viewed today by those being visited. I found the results somewhat surprising, although after some contemplating, perhaps not so surprising. As a survivor-participant of long-ago door to door visitation, I have some very bad memories of the practice, but I also remember that at least a few were genuinely glad to have us come in and share with them.
